Cinema Meets Comedy This THURSDAY at Video Visions: A League of Their Own
Celebrating Women Filmmakers!
Hello Peaches!
If you're panicking because Women's History Month is almost over and you have yet to watch a movie made by a woman OR support a woman's comedy show that you weren't specifically booked on, YOU'RE IN LUCK!
This Thursday 3/27 (tomorrow), our cinema inspired stand-up show, Video Visions, is back and our theme for Women's History Month is A League of Their Own (directed by Penny Marshall)! But don't worry if you haven't seen it, the theme is just a lil tease (like most women amirite?!)
My co-host, Ellie Race-Moore, and I will screen 6 surprise clips from 6 movies directed by women for 6 comedians (and our audience) who have to improvise a 10 min set off of what they see!
Come to Videotheque, one of the last thriving and surviving video stores in Los Angeles, tomorrow 3/27 at 8pm for comedy, cinema, and feminist cred!
Tickets are $10 and available here (and at the door)!
